Part of the Bright Lights program, re/app playfully reconstructs familiar local imagery into new meanings through the creative outputs of the social media phenomenon - memes. 

 

Looking through the eye's of the youth from the city of Wagga Wagga, we are shown how these young creatives interpret the local vernacular into something brand new.

 

Exploring the colourful palette of meme making we worked together with a talented group of young creatives to craft new social contexts and visual story making that was inspired by the beautiful heritage and environment of the city.
